Margy's Hut Trip 3/20/04

Not sure how we will top this hut trip; blender drinks, a pony keg and spring skiing right outside our door. Margys Hut is at 11,300'. Trailhead elevation 8,440' and total distance of 7.6 miles. Those 7 miles go quickly when you have a gas blender (compliments of Sean Rayborne) and a bartender (Sean Miller) in his BVD's pouring tasty daquiris during pit stops while basking in the hot sun. We got an early "noon" start which isn't unusual for this crowd. We arrived at the hut at around 5:00 with a buzz, unsure if it was from the altitude or rum! Chad Townsend "the mule" hauled a pony keg up on a pair of ski's. Overall, great skiing, tasty food, fruity beverages and good company. One of our favorites so far.
